For the past 12 months, it has been a roller coaster ride for me physically, emotionally, and mentally. I can only thank God that he has seen me through the circumstances, drawing from the strength that i can only have because of who He is.

I know I haven't been faithful towards Him, skipping church, missing cell and committing sins I admit them all, but He is a faithful and loving God. I can feel His hand that is holding mine, guiding me along every time i asked for help.

Dear Father, I can only thank you and praise you for what you have done in my life.

Thank you for healing my mom, thank you for seeing me through my studies,

thank you for being with us in our relationship, thank you for people you placed around me, and thank you for loving me.

Culture Jam / Art Party:

By its very nature, skateboarding is a political act - despite a proliferation of purpose built skate-parks, the street still remains the most popular venue for many skaters. Public and private spaces are reclaimed and re-designated as skaters use banked walls, kerbs, steps, handrails and pavements as the backdrop for their uniquely raw art form.

This oppositional approach was the inspiration for a series of illustrated boards created by the students from the Design Communication programme at LASALLE College of the Arts in conjunction with some of the most exciting graphic artists and designers in Singapore. Adopting the language of graphic activism the designers involved have created works which aim to powerfully persuade visitors to reconsider their attitudes toward a range of contemporary issues.
